In the municipality of Alkmaar, nine bridges across the Noordhollands Kanaal are controlled centrally from the Tesselsebrug, phonenumber: +31 725117135. These are marked with a *. Call via VHF 20. If you don't have a mariphone marifoon then you can use the designated push buttons to alert.

The bridges over the Luttik Oudorp and the Turfhaven are run on site by port authority staff members, phonenumber: +31 725200014.

Operating times between 1 April and 31 October

(Between 1 June and 15 September, from 9 am - 7 pm) 
- For the Kraspolderbrug (operating from Leeghwaterbrug, phonenumber: +31 725402715), different operating times apply.

The operation of the railway bridge depends on the NS (public railway service) Alkmaar-Den Helder and Alkmaar-Hoorn.
The NS Bridge Operator doesn't have a mobile phone. He can only be reached by telephone on +31 725198557.

Operating times Luttik Oudorp and Turfhave bridges
Sailing in and out between 10 am and 4 pm, in consultation with port authority (phonenumber: +31 725200014, not via mariphone!). During pre-season and  late season, there is limited servicing of the bridges Luttik Oudorp. The Turfhaven, however, is open.
