One of the most famous courtyards in Alkmaar is the 'Hof van Sonoy'. This courtyard is home to a historical building, a former monastry that is now: Grand Café De Heeren van Sonoy.
The Grand Café is perfect for familydinners, a nice lunch, business meetings and many other occasions. During the Cheesemarket season Heeren van Sonoy opens on Fridays at 10.00 am.
